The Dukan diet is just another fad diet? Prepare for a surprise


The Dukan diet is becoming more and more known in the English-speaking countries and increasing coverage of this new diet. Many of the authors of new articles on the Dukan diet criticized the plan as another new fad to get nutrition on the weight loss scene. But is this fair? Is it exactly to the Dukan to describe diet as a fad diet?

First of all call it the nutrition new inaccurate. It can newly in English-speaking audience, but it was big success in France popular and seen for many years. Secondly, the high protein and low carbohydrate principle behind the program is not new. The Atkins diet is a well-known low-carbohydrate weight loss plan, but the idea that reducing carbohydrates helps you lose weight is as old as the first weight loss programs.

Other inaccuracies in the reporting of the Dukan diet is the authenticity of the program in the category of 'dieting' and then criticize this diet in General. There is no crash, no fasting or counting calories is involved in every stage. Including this diet in criticism of hunger regime is simply a category mistake (and shows that the author probably won't know what the process involves).

Some people have about criticism food is excluded from the assumption that the weight loss regime is therefore unbalanced. It includes high in fat, high salt and high sugar foods and calls for moderation when it comes to carbohydrates, which is what is healthy eating.
