Lose weight with the Dukan diet - help or hype?

Wellness professional I research and write about many different types of diet plans, diet or food approaches. There are many to choose from, and not all one people. In my own book "the get REAL Guide to health and fitness," I offer four different approaches to food. This allows the reader, choose the style that corresponds to requirements not only at their best, but also a considered them on long-term detention.

Allow the most 'nutrition' people to lose weight, so that not the problem. The real problem is that the restriction is so great, people in this way will always eat and if they continue normal food, sneaks the weight back on. Because demand will continue, however other diets.

There are a handful of basic theories, circulating the new revised forms, but there are some new ideas. In my book I moved the best aspects of many and presents them in four different formats for the reader to choose from. They were not where food you only this special diets, or that they were style food, where you eat with purpose and plan-oriented decisions based on what you work predecided best for you.

While flexibility good for most people, there is also a group of people who need more specific direction and fewer opportunities. These individuals, if difficulties have left their own decisions, plan-oriented options select. No matter how much they wanted to do this it does not work.

She accidentally their efforts through some of the plan to sabotage elections and frustrated about their lack of results. In the discovery that in fact the setback caused their decisions, they have to deal with guilt and disappointment. Two emotions, weight loss does not promote.

In my research, I came across the book, "The Dukan diet" by Dr. Pierre Dukan. My first thought was here we go again, another lose weight quick book, but as I by the principals reading something clicked. He claims that "what most hate obese people and is not simply for themselves decide when and how they are going to be food." His plan is comprehensive; Take it or to let ideal for "all or nothing". It of not complicated, can eat you associated food in any quantity, you choose.

In this book, Dr. Dukan describes a very simple four phase plan for lasting weight loss. Here's what I like about his system:

He guides you through the process of looking after your true weight laboriously and helps you determine a realistic ideal weight (good start).
His approach uses this information to how long you need, in any stage (sets limits) to close.
Dr. Dukan writes, [is] a system with specific statements that leave them on the right track with levels and objectives, to get no room for ambiguity or variation. (This provides framework.)
He points to the importance of exercise and simple daily recommendations (healthy weight loss is not all about the food).
It promotes the essential role of water and how it works to support the plan.
It offers real recipes that would eat even Midwesterners.
It promotes protein as a mainstay of the diet, but other foods back slowly works in the program, based on the number of pounds lost (unlike Atkins).
It offers a realistic maintenance period that is reasonable and that is quite possible to maintain.
He understands that guidelines not enough for many people to lose weight. You need support and accountability. Its website provides for, that for those who go on his program (necessary for chronic dieters).
This plan followed as mentioned offers healthy weight loss and results can be seen quickly (motivation provides).

Here is what I don't like:

He demonized fat. In my research, fat serves a purpose in the diet. It allows you to complete and feel satisfied. It helps to promote the digestion of fat-soluble vitamins and it is a natural food. While too much fat unhealthy sources not desirable is preferred, it should be, which processed, changed and unnatural food. Read more about how the brain and body work together, plays fat a positive role food problems up processes.
This plan is too restrictive, especially in phase one. Not everyone is ready or able to withstand, so that it a problem for compliance with.
Nutrition and artificially sweetened food prompts. Processed and unnatural foods have been shown to slow down and interfere with natural processes in the body.
Processed foods, sugar and starch are not allowed in phase, (1-10 days) minimal in phase three, and may not fully until the final phase. This would be a deal breaker for some. She could not simply say no to these foods.

The bottom line is, if you're looking to lose weight must structure and would be prepared, your food options restrict, for the first two phases. This plan leads to weight loss. However, if you could start over good damage are not, do. This plan, like everyone else requires a commitment.

A half-hearted attempt leads to more frustration and perhaps additional pounds. Remember, healthy eating is not something that you will do itself, but for themselves. A method that works is for you to find the possible.
